Julian Walss (*2000, Sursee, Switzerland) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Emmenbrücke. Fascinated by his own feeling of connectedness towards his childhood lake (Lake Sempach), Julian inquires about the energies we derive from bodies of water. In his work, ecological processes, life cycles and thoughts about the human impact form the base for speculative field research. He establishes contact with surrounding environments through video, material experiments and performance and repeatedly attempts to integrate more-than-human expressions into the artworks.
